Save Up to 50% Without Losing Warranty Protection
Buying refurbished can save you hundreds of dirhams over a brand new phone, sometimes half the original price, without giving up warranty protection the way a private secondhand sale would. This page covers what refurbished actually means, what to check before buying, and where to find real deals across the UAE.
Some models on this site, like older iPhone and Samsung flagships that are no longer sold new, are now only available refurbished or preowned. For those phones, this is the only current route to buying one with any warranty backing at all.
What to Expect Buying Refurbished
Refurbished is not the same as secondhand
A properly refurbished phone has been tested, repaired where needed, factory reset, and inspected before resale. A private secondhand sale has none of those checks.
Warranty coverage varies by seller
Warranty terms in the UAE typically run from 3 to 12 months depending on the retailer, with some offering paid extensions. Always confirm the exact term before buying.
Condition grading matters
Most UAE sellers grade devices (commonly Excellent, Good, or Fair) based on cosmetic wear. Check what grade you’re actually paying for, not just the price.
Battery health is the real question
A phone can look flawless and still have a worn battery. Ask for the battery health percentage before buying, especially on phones two or more years old.
Installments are commonly available
Most established UAE refurbished retailers offer 0% installment plans through Tabby or Tamara, the same as buying new.
Buy from a registered seller
Stick to retailers with a real UAE trade license and a stated return policy. Marketplace listings from individuals carry more risk and usually no warranty at all.
