The current phones in this range use premium foldable displays designed to provide a larger viewing area for multitasking, media and productivity. Compare the inner and cover-screen size, panel technology, refresh rate, brightness and crease design rather than choosing by screen size alone.
4
Camera
Camera hardware is an important consideration at this price level, with the current models offering multi-camera systems with high-resolution main and additional lenses. Compare the complete camera setup, including main, ultrawide and telephoto cameras, stabilization, zoom and video capabilities. Megapixel count alone does not determine overall camera quality.
5
Battery & Charging
Battery capacity and charging speed are particularly important for large foldable phones. The current Under AED 7,000 models offer large batteries with fast wired and wireless charging support. Consider both battery capacity and charging technology, especially if you use the larger inner display frequently for streaming, gaming, navigation or productivity.
6
5G & Regional Compatibility
5G connectivity is available on the current Under AED 7,000 models. Before buying, check the exact UAE or regional version, supported network bands, SIM configuration and carrier compatibility. This is especially important when purchasing premium phones through UAE retailers or importing a regional variant.
7
Software Support & Foldable Durability
Software support is important when spending at this level. Check the manufacturer’s Android version, security-update policy and expected update period. For a foldable phone, also consider hinge construction, screen durability, water resistance, warranty coverage and the availability of official UAE service support before buying.
